With a Gators side in the upper divisions of the highest quality competition in Victoria, the Big V, and a thriving domestic scene, Shepparton Sports Stadium has been home to the biggest moments.
A buzzer beater, a game-saving block, a championship - Shepparton Sports Stadium is where players, coaches and supporters have bared witness to it all.
And now, with the latest upgrades revealed to be complete by Greater Shepparton City Council, those moments are only going to feel a whole lot more atmospheric.
Renewal works have finished the addition of a scoreboard replacement on court one, which now meets Basketball Victoria guidelines and standards for high level basketball, including the Big V competition in which the Shepparton Gators reside.

Courts three and four have also had an upgrade to its audio system, compatible with the quality of courts one and two, and now has the capacity to provide emergency evacuation alerts and instructions.
Additionally, seating upgrades on courts two and four aims to improve patron comfort and increases run-off for safety.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor Shane Sali praised the completed works ahead of the resumption of sport on the hardwood in 2026.
“Council is proud to deliver these upgrades, which will enhance the experience for players and spectators and support the stadium’s role as a premier sporting venue in our region,” Sali said.
