‘Lot of motivation’: Shepparton East out to make amends

The Eagles, who claimed last year’s minor premiership, are out to exact revenge on their preliminary final loss to Tallygaroopna.

A-grade coach Erynn Hueston said her charges were keen to make amends on last year’s disappointing exit.

“I think after how last year finished we go in with a lot of motivation,” Hueston said.

“The way we finished was devastating and we’re really looking forward to going around again. (Finals) is absolutely the goal.

“Our group stays the same, across both A and B-grade, and we’ve welcomed in Bec (Rendina) who will be a great asset to our midcourt.”
