The Yarrawonga Rowing Club are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Yarrawonga Ladies Rowing Club.

Over the years many young local women and girls have participated in this sport and for approximately 10 years it was part of Sacred Heart College and Yarrawonga High School (P-12) sports programs with numerous wins in various sections in the Head of the School Girls and the Victorian State Secondary School Girls regattas.
To celebrate the 50 year milestone there will be a function at the back of Burkes Hotel on Saturday, February 25.
All past and present rowers, coxwains and committee members are welcome to come and join in and reminisce.

Vice President of the Yarrawonga Rowing Club, Mary Mansfield is gathering photos and memorabilia to be on display and encourages attendees to bring along any photos they may have.
On Sunday, February 26 join members at the Rowing Club at 10am for a tour of the boat shed and a row.
