Kyabram’s Julia Crockett-Grills and Benalla’s Becky Webster were officially rewarded with life membership at Geelong on July 4 for their long service of contribution to the Cats.
Crockett-Grills was an inaugural member of Geelong’s first AFLW side in 2019 and has played 72 games, the second-most of any AFLW Cat.
The versatile Kyabram export was key to Geelong’s 2023 finals run that ended in a preliminary final exit, Crocket-Grills was also a member of the Cats’ leadership group in 2022.
Benalla’s Webster’s life membership is not the only new title the Goulburn Valley export will have in 2026.

Named as a new co-captain of Geelong Webster has been called up as a life member as she boasts the AFLW games record for the Cats to date.
The pick seven draftee 2018, Webster burst onto the scene as a midfielder, but has since become a damaging rebounding defender and a general for the backline.
The co-skipper will be aiming to lead the Cats back up the ladder in 2026, after a 5-7 record held Geelong in 13th last season.
The 2026 AFLW season begins in August, with Geelong to take on North Melbourne in round one.
