Keen golfers have been making the most of the sunshine at Mooroopna Golf Club as the mercury rises.

The long weekend was a prime chance to hit the links in the morning before the afternoon heat kicked in, as Sunday’s scorching top of 43°C was one of Shepparton’s warmest temperatures in January.

But that didn’t stop players from hitting the fairways for some stroke play under the sun.
