It continues on Thursday evening with juniors taking to Kialla Recreation Reserve where three Twenty20 grand finals will be contested.
In the under-16A final Old Students will be up against Euroa, Waaia and Nagambie square-off in the under-16B, while Euroa and Notre Dame-St Brendan’s will contest the under-14A decider.
Following this week’s action the semi-final matches will be contested while the final rounds of the two under-14 competitions will take place.
Before those matches start our News photographer Megan Fisher attended Kialla Recreation Reserve on Saturday for the under-14B clash between Old Students and Shepparton United.
The home side got the chocolates thanks to some classy batting performances from Will Mathers (19 runs), Christopher Stivactas (17) and Noah Sabri (14 not out) who helped Students chase down United’s tally of 5-107.
Usman Hassan was the standout for United with a glorious unbeaten 41-run knock from 61 deliveries.
