Shepparton showed why it’s the team to beat in the Goulburn Valley League under-17 netball competition on Saturday, overcoming Kyabram with a comprehensive 71-41 win at Deakin Reserve.

The Bears were as clinical as ever in their round nine clash, cruising to a 21-6 lead at quarter-time.
Kyabram managed a fightback after the break, but Shepparton proved too strong and consistent throughout, winning all four quarters to run away a 30-goal winner.
Mackenzie O’Dwyer continued her superb season with another stellar performance in wing attack, earning best-on.
She was supported by Ruby Higgins and Keeley O’Dwyer, who were also named among the Bears’ top performers.
Goaler Natasha Dodos picked was best for the Bombers.
