In the Goulburn Valley League landscape, Samantha Kreltszheim has called time on her stint at Euroa as she returns to her former side.
A dynamic shooter, Kreltszheim joined the Magpies off the back of their premiership season in 2024, going on to complement the black and white attack end alongside the likes of Olivia Morris and Mia Sudomirksi.
She helped Euroa to a top two finish and a place in the 2025 grand final, where the Magpies were denied back to back flags by a fierce Shepparton outfit.
However, there’s no place like home.
Kreltszheim has returned to Wangaratta Rovers in the Ovens and Murray League, the club where she won three A-grade best-and-fairest awards.
At Deakin Reserve, Shepparton United has drawn from Mooroopna’s talent pool to strengthen its defensive stocks.
Backcourt general Chloe Meulenmeesters will suit up for a fast improving Demons side, bringing a decade’s worth of A-grade experience within the GVL and Riddell District Football Netball League.
Further west, Rochester has turned to a club legend to lead the way.
Krsity Roulston has been appointed as the club’s A and B-grade coach, continuing her latter role while taking the baton from Linda Rasmussen and Rachel Whipp in A-grade.
Roulston steered the Tigers’ 15-and-under side to a premiership in 2019 and has overseen the recent successful finals campaigns of Rochester’s B-grade outfit.
And in the Murray Netball League, Nathalia has continued its recruitment drive in a bid to go one further following its 2025 grand final loss to Rumbalara.
Following the signatures of Steph Smith Gorrie and Ash Cullen, the Purples have enlisted the talents of versatile Tongala weapon Emmalea Wishart.
