In the final outing for the Haw Pavilion before the Victoria Park renovations, Echuca took on geographical rival Kyabram across the grades.

In the reserves, the game swung back and forth, quarter to quarter, but in the end the table-topping Bombers came out ahead 8.11 (59) to 6.6 (42).
