Development will be the primary focus of Rennie's season, according to netball president Lisa Starr.
While it has good numbers at a junior level, the club's senior talent is lacking heading in 2021.
“This year will be more about developing our juniors into senior netballers rather than get the wins this year,” Starr said.
“We have a few that could take the next step as we have quite a bit of depth in our juniors.”
Starr said the NSW-Victoria border closures were a reason for the low numbers.
“The border (closure) impacts have affected our town and our numbers as people are still waiting to see whether this year's season goes ahead.”
Those that have returned are enjoying being back, but Starr hoped more would join as the season got closer.
“They are really enjoying the training and the social side of things as well,” she said.
“It's good to see the regulars come back and it would be nice to see some more regulars and new ones as well.”
