Wines polled a perfect 10 votes on Saturday night as his Port Adelaide side crashed the party of Hawthorn player Shaun Burgoyne, who became the first indigenous player to play 400 games at the level.
Wines, who now has 70 votes, had 43 touches, three marks and seven tackles and a whopping 14 clearances in the 13.9 (87) to 7.11 (53) victory.
While Oliver, who sits in second in the coaches award behind Western Bulldog Marcus Bontempelli, didn't poll any votes in round 16, he did collect 28 disposals, four marks, seven tackles and five clearances as his Melbourne side lost 7.13 (55) to 9.10 (64) against GWS.
Finley's Tom Hawkins polled seven votes in Geelong's comeback win against Essendon on Friday night.
After fellow tall forward Jeremy Cameron went down with a hamstring injury, Hawkins stepped up and kicked a bag of six goals from 15 disposals.
He also recorded six marks as the Cats won 15.8 (98) to 8.9 (57).

While he didn't poll, Seymour's David Mundy sits in ninth in the award with a total of 54 votes.
His Dockers outfit played a rare home game at the MCG, due to COVID-19 restrictions, and Mundy collected 21 possessions, four marks, four tackles and six clearances as his club went down to Carlton 8.16 (64) to 12.8 (80).
Mundy's coach Justin Longmuir is backing the 35-year-old to become the sixth player to reach the 400-hundred games mark.
“You don’t lose your skill, or you don’t lose your game sense, that actually grows as you get older,” Longmuir said.
“The thing that drives these players is the motivation to put in the work continuously for 15, 16 or 20 years in Shaun Burgoyne’s case — that's still there with Dave.
“He's really driven to be a better footballer, a better leader.
“He's really invested in the group of young mids he's playing with at the moment.
“So as long as that's there, I can't see him retiring any time soon.”
