Ardmona's long road back from the brink of extinction has begun, with legendary AFL player Shane Crawford calling the shots as coach of the Cats.

The Hawthorn premiership player and Brownlow medalist has started his role as coach and is now running the club's pre-season, as Ardmona puts in the work to try and claim its first win since 2015.
