The pairing will head to South Australia as Victoria tackles the hosts in open men's, women's and under-18 test series’ at McLaren Vale Bowls Club from January 14 to 16.
“It is a bit extra special having him there as well,” Collier said.
“It will be good.”
For Collier it is her first Victorian selection in more than six years after a bowls hiatus.
“I've been out for six years,” she said.
“So I'm just coming back.
“We're thankful for all of the family support to get us there.”
For Leask next week's tournament will represent his second as a member of the state team.
“It's going to be good,” Leask said.
“My (form) has been alright this season, it's been pretty good.
“(My first state tournament) was pretty different, it was pretty good. Mum was there watching me so it will be good (to play alongside her this time).”
Kyabram's Olivia Cartwright, Rochester's Cam Keenan and Katamatite export Curt Hanley will also be involved in the series as Victoria looks to assert its dominance across all three categories.
