Although her team was defeated by NSW in the grand final, Berry's journey is far from over after being one of only two Victorians chosen for the Australian Masters team to travel to South Africa next year.
“I’ve always played hockey since high school and now I’m playing with Victoria, I just love meeting up with people I’ve played with over the years and I enjoy playing at a higher level,” Berry said.
And Ky’s hearty 64-year-old hockey player isn’t showing any signs of slowing down any time soon.
“I have my own fitness program and I go to the gym five out of seven days a week, then I’ll start training next year,” she said.
