The A-grade Murray Netball League battle between the Magpies and Eagles will be worth the price of entry alone today, with the rivals keen to reign supreme when the dust settles.
Alex Daly's and Charlotte Long's Magpies are searching for a three-peat of flags, but they will want the pennant to be sewn up as early in the clash as possible.
There is no questioning Moama's dominance across the past three years, but it has meant the Magpies have rarely been tested - and when they are, the signs are not positive.
Moama has failed to win games by 10 goals or more only six times since the start of the 2017 season - but in just one of those close contests have the Magpies come out on top.
That was by eight goals against the Eagles in round three of this season, but the other five matches have produced two draws and three losses for the black and white army.
Regardless of that record though, Moama still enters today's fixture as a warm favourite to take out the MNL crown.
“We’re all stoked to be here,” Daly told the Riverine Herald.
“We’ve mostly been working on our focus and how we attack this game mentally. We know our fitness, we know our skill and we have faith in both of those. We feel like we just need to get ourselves in the right place to go for another flag.
“I think they’re going to be ready for us.
“They’re going to be at their best for the contest, but we will trust our game plan.
“Playing United gives us that extra bit of edge.
“You definitely want to win because of that rivalry, but we’re just going to take it like any other game.”
Daly and Long will be crucial performers as well as tacticians today for their side, while Steph Watson in attack and Ange Slattery in defence will also look to book-end their team's premiership hopes.
