One of the highlights of the fixture is the contest between fifth-placed Cobram and seventh-placed Finley, with the Cats keen to claim another scalp before finals start.
The Tigers had a comfortable 33-goal win against rival Barooga last week and will look to keep that form rolling today.
‘‘It was probably one of the better games we have had all season,’’ Cobram coach Kate Bird told the Cobram Courier.
‘‘We said we weren’t going to let them jump on top, even though they are lower down the ladder, it doesn’t matter, it’s Barooga verses Cobram, so it’s always going to be tough.’’
Meg Denson, Georgia Kerr and Lillieth Ukich starred for Cobram, which can all-but secure fifth spot by winning today.
But, if the Cats are able to cause an upset though, it will mean any of them, Cobram or Mulwala can finish fifth and face eighth-spot in the elimination final.
The Lions take on Numurkah in a clash they will enter as favourites, while Tongala (eighth) and Nathalia (10th) face Echuca United and Deniliquin respectively in tough fixtures.
It could leave the door ajar for ninth-placed Congupna to climb the table if it can get the job done against Katandra.
The remaining clashes of the round pit Rumbalara against Tungamah and Moama against Barooga.
