The Magpies were too good for the Bulldogs at Tatura Park, producing a second quarter well worth writing home about before holding on in the face of a last-quarter blitz from the home side.
Euroa was two goals up at the first change, but extended that lead to 13 at half-time — conceding just one goal in the second stanza.
Tatura bounced back to win the third term by a goal before shooting 12 goals to six in the final quarter, but it was not enough as the Magpies claimed a 39-33 win.
●Shepparton was back on the winner’s list with a dominant performance against Benalla.
The Bears won 59-24 with Ash Cann, Laura Scott and Laura Ryan standing out.
For the Saints — who wore Tatong uniforms for the clash — Bridget Hill, Chloe Hill and Mikaylah Lessing impressed.
●Seymour had a great day out against Mooroopna on Saturday, eventually securing victory 54-35.
Jessica Lallo and Lucy Zotti were among the best players on the court for the Lions, while Ash Lancaster, Mia Fallon and Dayna Williams all battled hard for the Cats.
●Unbeaten and on top of the table — there is nothing more Shepparton United could have done in the first phase of the season.
The Demons had it all on their own terms against Rochester on Saturday to notch up win number six, with the final score showing a 61-33 triumph to the home side at Deakin Reserve.
