The Rotary Club of Seymour is continuing its support of the community despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
The club is involved in several initiatives to support the community during a challenging time.
We have joined with O’Keefe’s IGA Seymour to assist vulnerable community members with their grocery deliveries.
The annual bowelscan program is running online with kits available for $20 at rotarybowelscan.com.au
Seymour youth are supported via scholarships and the junior Rotary community award participation.
Applications are being called upon for interested Year 11 students to become involved in the National Youth Science Forum in Canberra early next year. Applications close mid-June.
In order to assist with our fundraising, we are encouraging residents who have spare used car batteries to contact the club for their disposal.
The Adopt a Road rubbish collection along the three main arterials leading away from Seymour will recommence on Sunday. Members of the public are welcome to join.
Through the continuation of our programs during challenging times, the Rotary Club of Seymour remains connected and supportive of the local community.
