Nagambie/Avenel/Seymour Uniting Church will be hosting a barbecue to help Frontier Services support Aussie farmers doing it tough in remote Australia.
There will be entertainment from local musicians, and activities for kids and people of all ages.
“I was saddened to hear how the natural disasters of fires, floods and drought have made it incredibly tough for our farmers around the country,” Uniting Church community outreach worker Michael Easton said.
“Our barbecue is supporting Frontier Services, who are on the ground across remote Australia delivering practical support to our Aussie farmers.
“We are hoping up to 100 people might come to enjoy the barbecue, music and games we are planning, while also contributing to this worthwhile cause.”
It is on Sunday at Buckley Park, Nagambie (enter from Glencairn Lane).
There is a worship at 10am and the barbecue and activities are on from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
