The death of life-long livestock agent Tony Pianto was marked at the Shepparton Regional Saleyards on Tuesday.

Mr Pianto, 54, an experienced and respected livestock agent with Elders, died on Friday following a battle with cancer.
A funeral service will be held at Congupna Community Hall on Thursday, August 22, starting at 1pm.
At the saleyards, a minute's silence was observed before one of Mr Pianto's steers was auctioned to raise money for the Peter Copulos Cancer and Wellness Centre in Shepparton.
The auction raised $4250, plus a further $2000 was added by Goulburn Valley Stock Agents Association.
Mr Pianto is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nikki, and son Matt.
Funeral arrangements are in the hands of Owen Mohan.
