Since the last bus review was done in 2009, there are a lot of questions that need to be addressed.

Firstly, is it the council’s responsibility to provide the information about the new subdivisions to the Department of Transport — or back then, the Department of Public Transport?
Secondly, have any current members of parliament and current council staff and councillors approached past members of Shepparton to ask if they had lobbied for the bus review?
And thirdly, since the booklet with the timetables for the area came out, the Mooroopna Park route has been amended and relocated to a different position from where council staff put it — and later, a brand new bus shelter was put in a different position after the resident at the time sought the information in the local paper.
The council, bus operators that run town bus services in Shepparton and Mooroopna, and the community had a public meeting about this issue.
And lastly, why are the council and the Department of Transport allowing a school bus to pick up in front of North End Bakehouse in the morning — even though it’s there for half an hour?
Why were they allowed to, when retailers were not allowed to have a loading zone in the main street? Is this a case of who you know in council?
