After reading that the price of a grave has increased at the Pine Lodge Cemetery I was surprised that it was not for maintenance.
I go there about five times a year and each time I am very unhappy with the way the grass is not cared for properly. It is mowed when it is too long and a catcher is not used, so it leaves strips of grass that are unsightly.
The grass is not cut short enough, so it is very spongy to walk on and for some people it is dangerous.
The concrete edging where the plaques are is always covered in cut grass and not edged very well.
The people in charge of this need to have a look at the Mooroopna Cemetery and get some tips on excellent care and maintenance.
I would not put anyone at the Pine Lodge Cemetery. It is a disgrace.
