‘Operation Art’ is an initiative of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, in association with the NSW Department of Education.
It's a program that encourages students in schools across all of NSW to create art to aid in the healing and recovery of kids in hospital.
At the same time, students discover purpose in art making.
It is open to anyone from Kindergarten to Year 10.
Four Deniliquin South School students have formally submitted art as a result of this program - Chloe Dennison, Savannah Chadderton, Evie Robson and Niah Williams.
They will now be considered, along with other entries from across the state, for a display in Westmead Hospital’s paediatric ward.
