If you do, you must be a child of the 1960s, when community service groups ran huge fundraisers and built everything from playgrounds to clubrooms and bush barbecues around Shepparton.
Filling showbags was a big job for the Lions. So was demolishing houses for timber and brick sales. But times change, and service clubs are not not what they once were.
In tomorrow's News, Shepparton Lions Club charter member Don Phillips, 89, opens up the club archives to reveal the projects, the hard yakka and the fun times over 60 years of community activity.
