The Yarrawonga/Mulwala R.S.L. Subbranch held a very moving Remembrance Day Service on November 11 at the Memorial Wall at ClubMulwala, offering our own tributes to the fallen and the families, the veterans and all of those who know what it is to serve.
The Subbranch would like to thank all those involved in the Remembrance Day Service.
Sacred Heart College Students for reciting the Flanders Field Prayer and Response.
Tony Bradshaw, Neil Barter and the Mulwala Primary School for the singing of the Royal Hymn and National Anthem.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteers who sold Remembrance Day badges, to the businesses who allowed us to set up our tables, Yarrawonga News & Gifts, Woolworths, IGA, Aldi, Burkes Hotel, Mulwala Bakery and ClubMulwala, and to the public who bought them.
The proceeds of the appeal goes towards the ongoing support of our local veterans and their families.
"Honouring them, and all of those who have gone before, we embrace their memory and hold it in our hearts. Lest we forget."
