Flagstick Bistro will be serving a beautifully curated Valentine’s dinner that will run across the weekend from Friday to Sunday, lunch and dinner.
Offering couples the chance to indulge in great food, great company and a relaxed, welcoming setting overlooking the greens.
The special menu features indulgent entrées such as pan‑fried scallops in garlic butter and Himalayan‑style steamed dumplings, followed by standout mains including a herb‑crusted pistachio lamb rack, a premium 350g rib eye with prawns and béarnaise, and a pan‑fried red snapper fillet served with tri‑colour fettuccine.
Dessert lovers are spoiled too, with ricotta cannoli, mango panna cotta and poached pear all on offer.
The full bistro menu will also be available, giving diners plenty of flexibility whether they’re planning a romantic dinner for two or a relaxed night out with friends who prefer good food over grand gestures.
For those who like to earn their evening meal, the club’s picturesque 18‑hole course is in top condition and open for bookings.
On the Friday, February 13, a nine hole social golf competition will be running, starting at 5.30pm.
Open to all, the $10 per person Ambrose competition could be the perfect doube date night, especially with a drinks cart and the bistro open for dinner after.
With many locals already planning a “golf‑and‑graze” Valentine’s Day, bookings are recommended.
With its relaxed charm, delicious food and welcoming atmosphere, the Deniliquin Golf Club is offering a Valentine’s Day experience that’s equal parts romantic and easygoing.
