Designed by Danielle Brustman, the 2026 tour program features activities inspired by parties and celebrations — and local children and visitors can get involved.
The free workshops and activities have been developed by the NGV in collaboration with artists and designers from around the world.
‘’Each year, NGV Kids on Tour grows in reach and we are proud to partner with over 160 community venues across Victoria to ensure that children and families everywhere can experience the joy of making art together,’’ NGV director Tony Ellwood said.
Kids on Tour brings creativity directly into local communities, making art accessible where children live.
The NGV program will be visiting Campaspe libraries from January 12 to 21.
NGV sessions will be held at Echuca library on January 12 to 14, Kyabram on January 13 and 14, Rochester on January 13, Tongala and Rushworth on January 12, Lockington on January 14 and Colbinabbin on January 21.

Echuca, Kyabram, Rochester, Rushworth, Tongala and Colbinabbin locations will host ‘Make a party hat’ where children can decorate a party hat with stickers.
Children attending Lockington, Kyabram and Echuca locations will be able to enjoy ‘Take the cake/cake celebration’ where they can draw their own cake, using their imagination and creativity to capture memories of special occasions.
Echuca will also host ‘Perfume in the 1700s’. Inspired by the trend of perfume in the 18th century, participants are invited to draw their own perfume bottle, using their favourite imagery from nature, fantasy, street art, or pop culture to express their imagination and personal style.
Sessions can be booked at each Campaspe library branch.
