As the Creator, God has also had a plan in place as to how His Creation will operate - from beginning to end.
In his relationship with His Creation, God has also made it clear that His intention has always been for a loving and benevolent care of those He created.
It would seem strange that humans would rebel against such a generous opportunity; Blinded by Satan’s lies, that is exactly what we are tempted to do.
From the very beginning, individuals, and even nations, have refused to believe that God has their best interests at heart.
Because of selfishness, we seem to think we have a better way of doing things.
God’s Holy Spirit is, however, able to change the thinking of those who are willing to trust Him.
King David, writer of many of the Psalms was able to express his acknowledgement of God as Lord of his life, and powerful enough to carry His plan to completion.
“The Earth is the LORD’S and everything in it.” (Psalm24:1)
Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, came to restore all of Creation to God’s original design.
Because of His willingness to submit to God’s plan of death and resurrection, Jesus gained forgiveness for those who believe, but also to be returned to a place of Glory with God.
That leaves us with a choice of accepting that forgiveness and returning to God’s plan, or to continue to rebel and accept the consequences.
As the Apostle Paul put it, we will all come to the point “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth, and under the Earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”. (Philipians 2:10,11)
