Traffic alert | Upcoming roadworks will temporarily close Knight St

Motorists who frequently use Knight St in Shepparton should plan alternative routes due to upcoming infrastructure upgrades.

Greater Shepparton City Council has announced that roadworks will take place adjacent to the Shepparton RSL, affecting the stretch between Welsford and Wyndham Sts, on Wednesday, June 11, from 5.30pm to 10.30pm.

During this time, the area will be closed to traffic, though property access will be maintained.

Road users and pedestrians are reminded to heed on-site signage and traffic controllers’ directions during this time.

Works are expected to be completed, and Knight St will reopen to traffic at 10.30pm on Wednesday, June 11, weather permitting.

Council said it appreciated the community’s patience as these essential maintenance works were carried out to ensure smoother journeys and improved local roads.
