Community groups from across the region have received support under the latest round of community grants.

The Campaspe Shire Council grants are designed to empower not-for-profit organisations, community groups, and initiatives that contribute to the vibrancy and strength of our region through projects, events, and exhibitions.
The grants were awarded to:
Campaspe River Reserve Committee: $2000 to replace damaged signs and the picnic table along the Campaspe River walking track.
Corop Community Action Group: $3360.58 to install block-out blinds in the Corop hall.
Lockington Community Care Committee: $2091 to buy outdoor furniture for the residents of Waterwheel Court.
Lockington Neighbourhood House: $1000 to contribute to bringing PubSing to the Lockington community.
Lockington Living Heritage Centre: $1931.31 to buy an external roller shutter for the kitchen window.
Rochester Football Netball Club: $4000 to buy two sets of portable seating.
St John Ambulance Australia (Campaspe division): $2990.15 to buy new equipment for volunteer first aid training.
Community grants are now open for four rounds a year, across four grant streams. If you’re considering applying, round three is open until August 26, and round four opens November 1.
