Sunday update: Greater Shepparton flood outlook

The Vic Emergency app put out threat-reduced notifications for Broken River and Seven Creeks, while the Goulburn River is still at minor flooding and is expected to stay there until at least Monday, October 9.

It is not expected to rain until Thursday, October 12.

Various roads across Greater Shepparton closed throughout the weekend, including sections of Gordon Dve, Mitchell Rd and Archer St in Kialla, which have reopened at the time of writing.

Watt Rd, between Mooropna and Kialla, remains closed due to flooding, as does Raftery Rd in Kialla.

Here’s a look at the status as of noon on Sunday, October 8.

Goulburn River at Murchison: At 10.38am, the Goulburn River at Murchison is holding steady at 7.64m, staying below the minor flood level.

Goulburn River at Arcadia Downs: As of 10.47am, the Goulburn River at Arcadia Downs is also maintaining a steady level of 8.62m.

Goulburn River at Shepparton: At 11am, the Goulburn River at Shepparton stands at 9.80m, indicating minor flooding conditions.

Seven Creeks at Euroa: As of 10.48am, the Seven Creeks at Euroa is steady at 1.75m, remaining below the minor flood level.

Seven Creeks at Kialla West: The Seven Creeks at Kialla West, measured at 11am, holds steady at 4.39m, staying below the minor flood level.

Broken River at Orrvale: The Broken River at Orrvale is maintaining a stable level of 6.49m as of 11.10am, remaining below the minor flood level.
