The warm weather is waning, the auburn leaves are crunching underfoot, and I have the desire to overhaul my wardrobe completely.

It’s official — winter is coming.
The time to surrender shorts and singlets is nigh, traded for chunky knits and trench coats that add flair while avoiding hypothermia.
I know what you’re thinking, Trenches? For winter? Groundbreaking.
“A blazer or trench, a white tee, and a great pair of jeans — it’s simple and snug but smart,” Traffik team member Vivien Ibisi said.
“This season, it’s about embracing cosy and stylish looks to keep you warm and on-trend.”
For a more chic touch, Vivien suggests letting your coat do the talking with a piece that features faux fur accents.
Now let’s get into the knitty-gritty.
Usher in sweater season by swaddling yourself in a cable-knit, turtleneck, or longline cardigan in trending deep jewel or earthy tones. (Think: pops of burgundy, forest green and chocolate.)
“But if you want to stand out, vibrant reds make a statement,” Vivien said.
“Then, there’s the classic winter shades such as navy blue, charcoal grey and basic black, which are always popular choices that never go out of style.”
Whether laid-back or lavish, accessories are a must.
Scarves, hats, belts, jewellery and sunglasses are small touches that make a big difference in creating a look that feels as fresh as the nip in the air.
It’s oh so simple, but for some, it begs the question: how do you keep a personal flair to your fit?
That is an art and one that the team at Traffik has mastered.
“Individual style is key,” Vivien said.
“Whether you prefer rich jewel tones, earthy hues, textures, or bold pops of colour, there are endless ways to incorporate these trendy winter colours and items into your wardrobe and express your personal style.
“We provide a personalised service to help our customers create a look that is uniquely ‘you’.”
