Now in its fifth year running, the Cobram Uniting Church Op-Shop Fashion Parade is returning for another evening of razzle-dazzle.

For one night only, on Wednesday, October 15, students from Year 9 and 10 at Cobram Anglican Grammar School will don the finest attire an op-shop can provide, strutting their stuff at the Irvin Hall.
And it’s going to be a night of great fun, according to op-shop co-ordinator Barbara White.
“The whole point is to show young people that they can get clothes from the op-shop,” she said.
The fashion parade and its associated walk will be open-themed, with the half-a-dozen or so students each wearing up to six outfits that they have created using items bought from the Uniting Church Op-Shop.
Irvin Hall will be the venue for this year’s fashion parade.

There will be a raffle on the night, with funds going to a local charity, alongside supper put on by cooking students at Cobram AGS and the Uniting Church ladies.
In previous years, money raised from the fashion parade has gone towards the Cobram SES, the Cobram Hospital and Moira FoodShare.
The car park on the church grounds will be available for parking, while parking will also be available on the street and across at the Cobram Civic Centre.
Tickets are available from the op-shop or Cobram Anglican Grammar School, starting at $10 for school students and $15 for adults.
