St Patrick’s Tongala student’s new four-legged friend

Some of the students, such as Foundation student Arabella Myers, were given an opportunity to walk up and pat Ernie.

She has visited many schools in the area as part of a team of 50 educators that works across the state to provide education to schools and kindergartens.

The program was developed by the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.

It focuses on reinforcing the message of responsible pet ownership through role-plays and active involvement from the children.
