Skills development fun at OOSH

Getting active was the aim of the game at the Intereach Outside of School Hours holiday program on Wednesday.

Students took part in the ‘SKIP’ program, which focuses on the emotional and social development of the kids.

When the Pastoral Times visited, some of the children had gone across the road to the St Michael’s School playground where they played different sports.

Ball skills were honed, and there was even some fun tug-o-war action.

Inside the centre, the youngsters were learning some martial arts skills and having a go at archery using suction cup arrows.
