The charter outlines the service standards residents can expect when interacting with council, and how working together can ensure respectful, clear and constructive communication.
“Great customer service is at the heart of everything we do,” Mayor Claire Ewart-Kennedy said.
“It's how we build trust, deliver better outcomes and stay connected with our community.”
The draft charter, which has been developed through initial discussions with residents and local groups, aims to establish clear guidelines for respectful and constructive communication between council and community members.
The consultation period will run from Monday, October 27 to Monday, November 24.
Council will consider all feedback received before finalising the charter, with consultation outcomes to be shared publicly after the closing date.
Residents can review the draft charter and submit feedback through an online form at share.strathbogie.vic.gov.au
Written submissions can also be made via email or post.
