Section of highway to be closed for road works

A 155-metre section of the highway’s south-bound lane will be closed from 7am to 5pm, with traffic control lights in place to allow the north-bound lane to remain open.

G-MW general manager infrastructure delivery services Alan Shea said the work was taking place because an assessment had shown the two culverts needed replacing.

“Replacing the culverts also provides us the opportunity to match the flow capacity of the drain and the culverts,” he said.
