The independent decision-makers for the awards were Peter Mogg from Moggs Accounting and Advisory and three community members, who made the difficult decision to choose the winners.
Cobram Rotary president Ellie Stephens said they were very excited to announce the winners after the awards ceremony was postponed.
“Seeing as we were the biggest (award giving) group in the area we made a very difficult decision to postpone, but we never wanted to cancel,” she said.
“The winner deserves to be given and we look forward to recognising nominations on the day.”
Rotary is encouraging people who want to attend to bring a rug or chair to sit on as seating is limited.
If bad weather prevents the event going ahead on Thompsons Beach, the ceremony will be moved to the Cobram Civic Centre.
