Corio St in Shepparton will be closed between Balaclava Rd and Rea St for upgrade works commencing on Monday, January 10, with expected completion on Monday, January 17.
Construction will take place during this time between 7am and 6pm, with the road reopening each night.
Local residents’ property access will be maintained throughout the works.
“While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, works of this nature cannot be performed without some inconvenience and disruption,” a Greater Shepparton City Council spokesperson said.
“Council asks road users to obey traffic management signage and detours for the duration of works and will work closely with the contractor throughout the construction period to address any community concerns.”
