Ned Kelly's face appears in Benalla tree

Upon closer inspection, I spotted a likeness of infamous Aussie bushranger Ned Kelly.

Coincidence? Well, yes completely.

But the tree in question is less than 100m from the Benalla courthouse, where Ned spent many hours.

And it’s on a road he would have walked, or rode down, often.

What do you think? Has Ned returned to keep an eye over his old stomping ground?
