Nanneella's Biggest Morning Tea unites community for a cause

“It was a really great day, we were very lucky with the weather,” she said.

“It had a lovely atmosphere, nice and relaxed, and people who don’t normally run into each other were chatting.”

The event featured homemade food, along with a stall selling knitted beanies and blankets, which proved popular.

“The beanies and blankets nearly all sold out,” Ms Mussared said.

A tribute tree was also set up, allowing attendees to write the names of loved ones affected by cancer, including survivors and those who had passed.

Ms Mussared said the day was not only about fundraising, but also about bringing people together.

“It’s a lot of work, but I do really enjoy it,” she said.

She confirmed she was planning to host the event again next year.
