UPDATE, Thursday, June 4: Due to the recent wet weather the region has been experiencing, traffic changes for the upgrade of Mooroopna’s Toolamba and Simson Rds intersection have been delayed.
Traffic barriers were to be removed on the road on Friday, June 5, but that will not be occurring now.
Greater Shepparton City Council has said that at this stage they do not have a new date for when this will happen, as it is dependent on the weather.
EARLIER: On Friday, June 5 the barriers surrounding the roundabout on Toolamba and Simson Rds, Mooroopna are going to be removed, allowing traffic to flow in both directions.
The works at the site are part of the GV Link Enterprise Project.
Night works will be undertaken on Thursday, June 4, Friday, June 5 and Tuesday, June 9 for the final layer of asphalt and line marking to complete the roundabout.
These works will be carried out between 8pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to follow all signage and travel with caution through the area.
