Moama Football Netball Club hits Eventbrite milestone

Even San Francisco-based founder and chief executive Julia Hartz was touched by the story and shared it on her social media account.

MFNC day co-ordinator Lauren Davy said she initially didn’t believe their event could have been the millionth and was wary of Eventbrite’s email congratulating the club.

“We thought our event was a little bit too small to be the millionth one, but it was exciting to be a part of that,” she said. 

“The club has been using Eventbrite for a while, but that was the first time we had used it for a netball function.

“We ended up raising $1500 which is a great help to a small rural club.”
