Moama may be a different looking side in 2021 than the side that lost the 2019 grand final, but the Magpies are already plotting a return to the top.

“The calibre of players that we have at this club, we have high hopes that we are going to have a successful season,” Lake said.

“And I think the year off can add to that motivation as well. Particularly for our more experienced players who have been playing netball their entire lives, they are just ready to get back out there and try and have an impact immediately.

“There is a really good feeling around this club this year, we've trained hard and are really happy with the plans we have put into place, so we are looking forward to seeing what this season brings for our club.”
