Members of Finley Mens Shed have once again made a substantial financial contribution to several local organisations, with a particular emphasis on the younger members of the community.

Jeff Ward, Principal of Finley High School, was most appreciative of the donation he received to be used to benefit the students in his care, as was Owen Gill, Principal of Finley Public School, Veronica Braybon Principal of St. Joseph’s Primary School and Sarah Singleton on behalf of Blighty Public School.
Finley Toy Library also benefited with Kes Widdison, Anna, Ivy and Henry Atkinson present to accept their donation.

Pat Radford and Jenny Isedale represented Can Assist Finley Branch and assured Men Shed President, Gavin Butcher, that the donation given to their group would stay locally and be used to assist local members of the community going through their journey with cancer.
Barry Dawe, on behalf of the Finley Football and Netball Club, advised that the donation they received would be used to assist the development of their junior members.
Trever Joyce and Reuben Sibraa from the Southern Riverina Poultry Club advised that the donation to their club would come in very handy to assist with much-needed maintenance on sheds.
