I hope your families treat you to a very special day out that you will remember for a long time.
We have a couple of nice places to eat, and I’m sure you will find them in no time.

Our community has been saddened by the loss of two long term residents recently.
The first was Janis Margaret Bright who, after many years calling Mathoura home, had been a nursing home resident for some time.
She was the mother of Glen, Troy, Cavil and Cassie, to whom sympathy is extended.
Her husband Jack pre-deceased her several years ago.
Mrs Bright was laid to rest last week at the Mathoura Lawn Cemetery.
A major shock to local residents came with the sudden death of Kevin James Robertson last week, only a short time after relocating to Moama.
A private burial for Kevin has preceded a memorial service in celebration of his life, to be held at 1pm today at the Timbercutter, Picnic Point.
He is survived by his wife, Sherryl and daughters Kim and Cynthia to whom sympathy is extended.

The Mathoura Bra Fence group has another of its fundraising events tomorrow night at the Pastoral Hotel.
Starting at 6pm, the event will include a huge range of auctions and all the fun the get together always brings.
It goes without saying that the Bra Fence Committee’s work helps numerous local cancer suffers to finance their travels for appointments and treatment.
