Following the recent announcement of the closure of HUSSLN Auto Detailing after 16 years in business, owner and founder Cam Scorey will bring his experience and reputation to Southern Rod & Custom, officially joining the team as its in-house detailer.
All existing HUSSLN Auto Detailing clients can continue with confidence, knowing Cam will personally carry out all detailing and paint protection work.
“While all bookings and inquiries will now be managed through Southern Rod & Custom, clients can expect the same level of care, workmanship and attention to detail they’ve always received,” Cam said.
Both businesses have built their reputations on quality and an uncompromising approach to their craft.
HUSSLN Auto Detailing earned trust across the region through high-end detailing, paint correction and vehicle protection, while Southern Rod & Custom has established itself as a leader in custom builds, restoration and fabrication.
The decision to join forces came naturally after Cam’s announcement, with discussions highlighting the opportunity to combine two aligned businesses under one roof.
“This is a great decision for everyone involved,” Cam said.
“Southern Rod & Custom operates at an incredibly high level, and the way they approach their work aligns perfectly with how I’ve always done things.
“I can’t wait to be part of the team and contribute to what they’re building.”
Importantly, Modesta paint protection will continue to be offered, with Cam bringing the globally recognised coating system to Southern Rod & Custom.
“This ensures clients across the Goulburn Valley and surrounding areas will continue to have access to industry-leading paint protection services,” he said.
“From this point forward, all detailing services and inquiries will be handled through Southern Rod & Custom, providing clients with a seamless, full-service automotive solution.”
The partnership represents the coming together of two leading businesses with a shared commitment to quality, craftsmanship and raising the standard of automotive excellence in the region.
Southern Rod & Custom shop foreman John Wood said his colleagues were excited to welcome Cam to the team.
“For us, it’s an extension of a very successful 40-year-old custom car building business, and having someone like Cam, with his following and exceptional detailing skills, is a huge asset going forward,” John said.
“We’re really excited to have him on board.”
