While Shepparton Foodshare’s mission continues, local groups are stepping in to offer support.

On Wednesday, June 11, Mooroopna Kiwanis Club contributed a $1000 cheque to Shepparton Foodshare at the new warehouse distribution centre in Mooroopna.

In turn, Toolamba Lions Club recently donated a $1000 cheque of their own, on Wednesday, June 25.

Members from both clubs were treated to a guided tour, exploring the new facilities and spaces set to enhance Foodshare's operations.

“I’m just overwhelmed with the community’s support,” Foodshare executive officer Dee Healey said.

“The support from the Goulburn Valley is just so diverse as well, from our service groups, continued support from the service groups locally, all their fundraising activities they do in the community.

“So grateful they’re supporting Shepparton Foodshare.”
