Kenny Broberg to perform in Shepparton

Sydney International Piano Competition finalist Kenny Broberg is making his way to Shepparton.

Performing at Riverlinks Eastbank later this month the program will include pieces from romantic piano composers such as Chopin, Debussy and Ravel as well as works from Beethoven and JS Bach.

Riverlinks performing arts and conventions manager Ken Cameron said Mr Broberg had achieved many accolades in his career including international success.

“In 2017, he won the silver medal at the prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, USA, as well as his success in the Sydney International Piano Competition,” Mr Cameron said.

“He’s also performed as a guest soloist with the Royal Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony, Minnesota and Seattle Orchestras, among others. Recently, he released his debut album, Cliburn Silver, on the Decca Gold label.”

Kenny Broberg will perform at Riverlinks Eastbank on Friday, August 23, at 7.30 pm.

Guests are invited to stay for light refreshments and meet Mr Broberg after the recital.
