From 9am on Thursday, May 30 to 9am on Friday, May 31, 58.2mm of rain was recorded at Shepparton Airport, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
The period of 8.30pm to 9.30pm on Thursday had the most rain in one hour, with 17.6mm.
The wet weather began at 4pm on Thursday and eased off by 1.30am on Friday.
No rain is forecast for Shepparton for the rest of today.
At 8.47am on Friday, May 31, a minor flood warning for this afternoon was issued for Euroa.
Rainfall totals of 50-70mm have been recorded over the Seven Creeks catchment since 9am Thursday, with an isolated higher total of approximately 105 mm at Moroko Park, the warning said.
The Seven Creeks at Euroa is currently at 1.60m and rising according to VicEmergency and may peak close to the minor flood level of 2.5m on Friday afternoon.
